Home Ownership for Personal Empowerment, Inc. (HOPE) | Long Beach, California

Provide executive leadership for a nonprofit housing developer/operator serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities andbroader special needs populations, integrating housing stability with a services-driven approach to dignity, access, compliance, quality, and long-term support.

•     Set organizational strategy and oversee governance, finance, property acquisition and renovation, asset and property operations,fundraising, compliance, quality assurance, administration, and housing-related services.

•     Lead fundraising across approximately $500K in annual grants, direct appeals, donor engagement, smaller community events,larger gala-style events, and an annual golf tournament grossing more than $200K.

•     Steward a 99-property portfolio across four corporations serving approximately 400 residents, while maintaining strategic relationshipswith HUD, regional centers, cities, lenders, foundations, service partners, and property-management teams.

•     Expanded capacity by increasing fixed assets by $20M+, leveraging $5.5M+ in federal funding, adding housing for 80+ people, andacquiring/renovating 20 properties during a three-year growth period.
